- 2 cups White wine
- 1/2 cup Lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 3 cups Milk
- 2 cups Cream
- no measure Grated nutmeg
- 4 Egg white
- 5 tablespoons Lemon rind
Instructions
- Mix Wine and lemon. Stir in 1 cup of sugar. Let stand until sugar dissolves. Mix milk, cream, and wine mixture. Beat until thick. Beat egg whites until stiff, add 1/2 cup of sugar and continue beating until egg whites very thick. Pour in rest.
