- 1/2 Apple cider
- 1/2 Beer
- dash of Ribena® blackcurrant syrup
Instructions
- First pour a small amount of blackcurrent squash in the bottom of a pint glass, about 1cm depth. Then pour in about half a pint of cider followed by about half a pint of lager; it is best to do it in this order as it tends to froth up if it is done the other way round, very annoying when you are working behind a bar!

In the north of england this is usually called a ‘Diesel’ as bitter is often substituted for lager which makes the whole thing darker. Absolutely fantastic drink, way better than alcopops and gets you hammered quicker too!
