actually in the books James Bond asked for his drink stirred not shaken ~ because after his capers he was always stirred but not shaken, however the people who made the films thought it sounded better the other way around. So that throws a slight spanner in the works!
I have to say, this is not the James Bond martini drink. The james bond martini is:
‘Vodka Martini, Shaken Not Stirred’.
The drink described here is in fact the ‘Vesper’, as thought up by James during a poker game in the latest film. I should know, I drink them a lot!
